The first day of my trip was really challenging. After a long flight from Korea to London, Heathrow Airport, I needed to get on the tube to King's Cross first, then catch the train to Edinburgh later. Since I wanted to arrive in Edinburgh before midnight, I need to take the 5:30 pm train from King's Cross to Edinburg . I only had one and half hours to catch the tube then train. I was running in the King's Cross tube station with my suitcase and bags, and needed to quickly find the platform to get on the train. Luckily, I got on the train with five minutes to spare. When I got off the train at Edinburgh Waverley station after 6 hours train-running, I was so impressed. First, I was totally lost and didn't know where was my hotel. Then when I looked outside, it was totally just like the Harry Potter movies, where I could see the castles and no lights. I started to use my Chinese-Korean-English accent to communicate with Scottish people. Perhaps because I was so eager to find the hotel, I fully understood them. Indeed, when I arrived at the Jurys Inn Hotel, I checked my watch and saw it was 1 am, almost 24 hours since I started my journey from Korea. Awesome! My second question to the hotel reception was to ask when the morning breakfast started.
